Hi, my name is Irv Treusch and I am the joint owner of Anglo-American Racing.

I have been passionate about horse racing since I was about 12 years old. I can remember my wife and I, when she was my girlfriend at that time, seeing Native Dancer win at Arlington Park in July of 1953. It ignited a passion for the sport that has never, and could never been extinguished.

I was born in Chicago, Illinois. I attended High School and University in Chicago as well as Law School.

In the 1980s, I became an owner in a small way, and in a larger way in the late 90s to the present. I also became a breeder when my filly won several stakes in the U.S. and became a brood mare in Kentucky. She has been bred to Van Nistelrooy and recently to a son of Giant’s Causeway “Aragorn.” I was also a breeder in Florida as an associate with Stephen DiMauro Senior, who was a jockey, Eclipse-award trainer and Hall of Fame nominee, as well as a successful breeder.

Now Steve and I are bringing our years of experience to the UK, Ireland and Europe, bringing Top Class U.S. race horses to the European tracks.
